Cookie Policy

What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind. Last updated 30 September 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others tell us how the site is used or help measure advertising. We use similar technologies (such as a tracking pixel or script) under the same rules, and this policy covers them too.

We only set strictly necessary cookies by default. Everything else is off until you switch it on, in the banner or in the preference centre, and you can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

Keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. They can’t be switched off, and they never track you across sites.

Counting visits without cookies

Even with every optional category off, each page load adds one to an anonymous daily tally of views per page, referring website, campaign tag and device type. No cookie is set, and no ID, IP address or browser details are stored, so it cannot identify you. We skip it if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Our own visit log

If you accept Statistics cookies, we also record each page you view in our own database, alongside Google Analytics. A record holds: the page path (never the query string), the website you came from, any campaign tags in the link (utm_source and similar), your browser language, your screen width, the type of device, and the random visitor and session IDs from the cookies above. We do not store your IP address or your name with these records. Visit records are deleted after 14 months.

If you then send an enquiry or place an order, we store your random visitor ID next to it, so we can see which page or ad led to it. We do this only with Statistics consent. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the enquiry or order itself.

Proof of your choice

Whenever you save a cookie choice we keep a record of it so we can show we respected it: a random consent ID, what you chose, when, the page you were on, your browser type, and a one-way hash of your IP address. These records are kept for 5 years.

Changing or withdrawing consent

  • Use here, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
  • Delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. We will ask for your choice again.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat it as a request to keep Marketing cookies off until you choose otherwise.

Some cookies are set by other companies (Google, Stripe, Calendly). Switching a category off stops us loading their tools, but cookies already on your device, such as Google’s IDE cookie, can only be removed from your browser settings.
